We offer the DUI/Risk Reduction class one weekend of every month and the class schedule is as follows :
Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm (lunch 1pm – 2pm) Monday 5:30pm-9:30pm.

First step- Call

Second step- The Appointment
At your appointment you will be oriented to procedures, rules, and state regulations and sign necessary paperwork for the assessment.
How to find us! Coming from Dawson or Cumming: Magnum DUI and Defensive Driving School is located in Dawson at 42 Grant Rd East facing Georgia Highway 400. We are about one mile north of the Dawsonville Kroger, Kroger is located across from the Ingles Shopping Center on Hwy 53. Our school is on the same side of 400 as Kroger in the Trend Storage complex.
Coming from Dahlonega: Travel south on Georgaia 400 and just pass Hwy 136 Magnum DUI and Defensive Driving School is on the left side of 400 just under a mile from Hwy 136.
Coming from Murryville or Gainesville: Travel either Hwy 60 to 400 and then travel south just as coming from Dahlonega. Or, travel Hwy 53 to GA 400 with the Ingles Shopping Center and Kroger Shopping Center are and turn right with the same direction as above coming from Dawson.
The Assessment must be completed prior to enrolling in the 20-hour DUI Risk Reduction course.
You will then take a 130 question self-assessment, cost $100.00
(Fee is set by State law). We accept Cash, Money Order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or Debit cards as payment.
After the assessment you will then be oriented to procedures, rules, and state regulations and sign necessary paperwork for the 20- Hour Risk Reduction Class.
The fee for the 20-hour course is $255.00 ($235.00 class fee + $20.00 book fee). This fee is set by State Law. The 20-hour course fee must be paid before the class starts.
Third step- The 20-Hour Course
You must attend the 20-hour in classroom course called DUI class by some, but is what the courts and the DDS call ” Risk Reduction Program.”
The class schedule is as follows :
We offer the DUI/Risk Reduction class one weekend of every month.
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1 hour lunch from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM) Students are given a quick break at 12:30 to call in a delivery for lunch.
Monday 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
At the end of class on Monday night, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
*Please be aware that the Department of Driver Services requires a minimum of 5 students per class. The DDS rules and regulation forbid late entry to any session of the course, so we suggest you arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to each session.
Fourth Step- Clinical Evaluation
Make an appointment to sign the necessary paperwork to transfer your assessment results to the Clinical Evaluator you have chosen from the state approved DHR list that can be found on the DDS website or the following state appoved website: https://gaduiintervention.dbhdd.ga.gov/Home.aspx
We charge $25.00 to transfer your assessment results to the Clinical Evaluator of your choice.
20-hour program $235.00
